Having struggled with emotional eating and weight problems since childhood, I know firsthand how it feels to be controlled by food and use it for comfort. I also know the devastating impact that has on your quality of life. My weight, and self loathing held me back most of my life, and I'd been on every diet known to man since my mum took me to a slimming club at the age of 10.
Only when I discovered hypnotherapy did my life change. I was a size 20, weighing 16 stone at my heaviest and it was the Hypnotic Gastric Band that worked for me. I'm now a size 14 and weigh around 12st. I know this will still be considered too heavy for many, but I'm happy with myself, and more importantly, it's my emotional connection to food that has disappeared and for that I will always be eternally grateful.

Through experience, I have found that a course of four sessions is often the optimum number for creating noticeable and lasting change.

However, for issues such as anxiety, stress, emotional overwhelm and sleep problems that may be contributing to long-standing habits and behaviours, additional sessions are often beneficial in helping create deeper, longer-lasting change.
